  5. Pr4win32.exe is a true 32-bit version of pr4win. It is completly written
  6. in Microsoft visual C 4.0 and will run under Windows95 and Windows 
  7. NT 3.51.
  8.  
  9. Pr4win.exe remains the 16-Bit version and will remain supported by me.
  10.  
  11. Thre are no major extensions over Release 2.02 Build 34 except support
  12. of all native available fonts.
  13.  
  14. Pr4Win (Packet Radio for Windows) is a KISS-Mode terminal programm.
  15. After more than a year of development Pr4Win is now ready in it is
  16. Version 2.02.
  17.  
  18. Pr4Win needs about 600 KB Harddisc an at least a 20 Mhz 80386 PC
  19. with Windows 3.1 in enhanced mode (Win 95, WINNT 3.5 or OS/2).

  21. You will also need a KISS-Mode-able TNC like PK232, TNC2, TNC3,
  22. MFJ1296 ...
  23.  
  24. #pr4w32.exe (#pr4w16.exe) are self-extracting archives. If you start 
  25. them in a DOS window right from c:\ they will generate a directory c:\pr4win
  26. an will put all the stuff in it.
  27.  
  28. Both versions can share the same directory and be used alternatively.
  29.  
  30. Latest updates of Pr4Win are also available via anonymous ftp. Try
  31. ftp@csesys.co.at directory /pub/hamradio.

  36. This version of Pr4Win has a build in limitation wich will disable
  37. most of its features after Mai.31.1997 "1997" Following uploads
  38. will have a later date.

  40. A registered version of Pr4Win may be available later this year.
